Wellington Camping Area

It poured down rain for hours today and left me with no inclination to do any sightseeing. Instead I spent most of the day planning what I wanted to do the other 4 days I'll be in this area.
Although this is a nice enough campground, unfortunately this rain made the roads here quite muddy, slippery, with puddles all over. Not so great for going for walks, but my rubber boots are perfect. They're hard to store and mostly get in the way, but I regard them as irreplaceable just for times like this. I gave up trying to store them, in fact - they just sit on the floor and act as door stops sometimes - so it's good they have a dual purpose.
