Happy Mother's Day!
The campground celebrated Saturday with a (free) breakfast for all campers, mothers or not. I didn't go because they didn't even start until 9:00 - much too late for my breakfast and too early for lunch - but lots of other campers did. I know because I'm right across from the gathering place.
Because of the holiday weekend, this campground is packed with families, including multiple little kids who are excited about being camping and are all using outdoor voices. They terrify Gracie and I can barely get her to walk sometimes, depending on how quickly she hears a little kid scream. It's pathetic.
Ohio's License Plates

There are other specialty plates supporting kids and pets and schools and organizations, but these are the ones you see most commonly and they seem to have been the official plates at one time or other.
The two from 2008-2013 celebrate Ohio as "The Birthplace of Aviation." Somehow they got Congress to declare it over North Carolina in 2003 because Dayton was the home of the Wright Brothers, who dreamed up their designs in their bicycle shop there. I should also note it was the birthplace for Neil Armstrong and John Glenn, just as added weight to the claim. Who knew?
We've had rain off and on for days now, making it feel colder than it is, and it's actually fairly cool - only gets up into the low 50s during the daytime. Monday night when I'll be parked in the doctor's parking lot it's expected to get down to 40°, so it may not be the most comfortable night. But it's just one night.
