Pouring rain and winds made me decide to sit this weekend out. In a way I hate to do it, because the month is half over and I haven't even seen half the state yet. But I decided my view of anything would be pretty limited by what I could see through the rain, and I'd be uncomfortable doing it, so stay won.
I did some basic chores, walked the dogs and dried them off (over and over) and basically just hunkered down.
I keep looking at the NJ map and seeing that I'm definitely in South Jersey: Cape May at the very southern tip is much closer to the campground than Newark, which isn't even all the way north. There's still so much I want to see and have been looking forward to, but the weather may defeat me here, just as it did in Connecticut. I'll keep hoping.
